We parents, need to get ready first for sending our children back to school as it is necessary for our little ones to be back in school for their physical, emotional and intellectual wellbeing. Confining them within the four walls for the last one and a half years has already done unimaginable damage to our youngsters, which no one will be able to assess at this point of time. It is, therefore, essential for us to send them back to the place where they should be at this age.
Once we are mentally prepared to send children to school, educate them about the dos and don ts and guide them on expected changes in school including temperature checking, distant seating arrangements, reduced social gatherings, need for frequent sanitization, importance of wearing masks always etc. They need to be trained to adjust with such changes and move along comfortably. They also should be made aware that these preventive measures are required to ensure good health of themselves and their loved ones including intimate friends.
We parents also need to ensure that our children eat healthy to remain healthy. Avoid junk food as much as possible, ensure children get a balanced diet and sufficient sleep. Do not send children to school if they suffer from any sort of unusual health conditions (cold, cough, sore throat, indigestion, etc.). Check the body temperature of child before they set out for the school.
